Jean is a manager with the Con Edison Company of New York, one of the nation’s largest public utilities.
In addition to serving as president of The Project, Jean is involved in many civic organizations, including Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Lebanon Lodge No. 54 (Prince Hall affiliate), One Hundred Black Men of NY and the American Association of Blacks in Energy. He has also served on the York College Advisory Board and as a student mentor.
Jean was born in Port au Prince, Haiti. He has resided in Queens since 1975.
Jean earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He received his Masters of Business Administration from Long Island University.
